Hello fellow plant experts and new plant enthusiasts alike! My name is Katie. I am a plant lover, dog mom and nurse who lives in Michigan. Over the past 6 years I have been collecting plants like they’re going out of style (which, of course, they totally aren’t!).
My love of plants began when my husband and I moved into our first apartment together. My husband just started a new job and I was still figuring out what I wanted to do in life, so we didn’t have the money to spend on decoration. Plants proved to be an easy and inexpensive way to liven up our living space.
My first two plants were a baby rubber plant and a spiky little cactus called Opuntia pycnantha. I have since been steadily adding to my collection, getting both mature plants and propagating new baby plants.
This site will provide you with all of the information I have gathered and tried over these past couple of years. I am continuously learning and curious to find new tips and tricks about how best to grow plants. I hope this site provides you with the guidance you need to keep your plants happy and healthy.
